What is the name of Rimac’s 1,914-horsepower electric hypercar?

The story behind the answer

Rimac Nevera is the name of Rimac’s 1,914-horsepower electric hypercar.

The Nevera is a Croatian four-motor battery-electric hypercar developed by Rimac Automobili. Its four independently controlled motors produce a combined 1,914 horsepower and 2,360 newton-metres of torque, figures that place it among the most powerful production cars ever offered.

Rimac first showed the car as the C_Two concept at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The production version was named Nevera, a Croatian word associated with a sudden Mediterranean storm. Customer production began in 2022.

The Nevera uses torque vectoring to control each wheel electronically, rather than relying on mechanical differentials alone. It followed the Rimac Concept One, which established the company’s reputation for high-performance electric drivetrains. The Pininfarina Battista shares major Rimac technology but is a separate car.
