What is the name of Rafael Nadal’s tennis academy in Mallorca?

Rafael Nadal’s tennis academy in Mallorca is the Rafa Nadal Academy. Its formal branding is often written as the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, but “Rafa Nadal Academy” is the standard name used in general references.

The academy is located in Manacor, Nadal’s hometown on the island of Mallorca. The complex combines high-performance tennis training with education and sports facilities, reflecting Nadal’s emphasis on developing athletes both on and off the court.

Construction began in November 2014, operations started in June 2016, and the official opening ceremony took place on 19 October 2016. Nadal founded the academy with a training method shaped by the technical team that supported his professional career. His uncle Toni Nadal, who coached him for many years, was the academy’s inaugural director.

The Mallorca campus is more than a tennis school. It includes the Rafa Nadal International School, accommodation for students, fitness and sports facilities, and the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience. The academy has also helped extend Nadal’s coaching philosophy internationally through affiliated centers and programs.
