What is the name of Mater's junkyard in Pixar's Cars?

Mater's junkyard in Pixar's Cars is called Tow Mater Towing and Salvage.

The business is Mater's home and workplace in Radiator Springs. Its sign identifies the establishment as a towing and salvage operation, matching Mater's role as the town's tow truck. The yard is filled with salvaged vehicles and parts and helps establish Mater as an enthusiastic, resourceful local character.

Mater's name is itself a play on the phrase “tow mater,” a pronunciation of “tow mater” that resembles “tomato.” The sign therefore connects his personal name with the service he provides. He is voiced by Larry the Cable Guy in the English-language films.

The junkyard should not be confused with Flo's V8 Cafe, a diner, or Ramone's House of Body Art, a custom-paint shop. Those are separate Radiator Springs businesses with different owners and purposes.
