LinkedIn’s employee engagement platform is called Glint. It uses employee feedback and people data to help organizations understand workplace engagement and decide where action is needed.
Glint was founded in 2013 and became part of LinkedIn after LinkedIn acquired the company in November 2018. Its tools centered on employee surveys, engagement analytics, manager effectiveness, and follow-up actions intended to improve the employee experience.
A frequent mix-up is confusing Glint with LinkedIn products such as SlideShare, Pulse, or Connectifier. Those names refer to other businesses or services associated with LinkedIn, while Glint specifically addressed internal workforce engagement. In 2022, LinkedIn announced that Glint would become part of Microsoft Viva, Microsoft’s employee-experience platform, but Glint remained the recognizable name of the engagement product.
