What is the name of Lego's line for toddlers?

The story behind the answer

The LEGO line for toddlers is LEGO DUPLO.

DUPLO bricks are much larger than standard LEGO bricks, making them easier for young children to grip and reducing the risk of swallowing small pieces. The range is designed for preschool play and includes animals, vehicles, houses, trains, farms, and familiar characters. DUPLO pieces can also connect with many standard LEGO bricks, allowing children to move gradually toward the smaller system.

LEGO introduced DUPLO in 1969. The name refers to the bricks being approximately twice the dimensions of conventional LEGO bricks in length, width, and height, giving each piece about eight times the volume. The line’s bright colors and simple builds support open-ended play rather than highly technical construction.

Scala, Primo, and Quatro were other LEGO product lines associated with particular age groups or formats, but DUPLO is the established LEGO brand specifically associated with toddlers and preschoolers.
