What is the name of Jasmine's pet tiger?

Jasmine’s pet tiger is named Rajah.

Rajah is Princess Jasmine’s loyal companion in Disney’s Aladdin (1992). He lives with Jasmine in the royal palace of Agrabah and acts as both a beloved pet and a protective presence. Although Rajah cannot speak, his expressions and behavior communicate affection, suspicion, and fierce loyalty.

Rajah is especially important because he helps show Jasmine’s independent personality. He is one of the few characters who remains close to her while she feels restricted by palace life and the expectation that she must marry a prince. He also reacts strongly to people he distrusts, including unwanted suitors and palace intruders.

The most common mix-up is confusing Rajah with the other Aladdin animals: Abu is Aladdin’s kleptomaniac capuchin monkey, while Iago is Jafar’s talkative parrot.
