What is the name of Frasier's son?

Frasier Crane's son is named Frederick Crane.

Frederick is Frasier's son with his former wife, Lilith Sternin, whom viewers first know from Cheers. He was born during the Cheers episode "The Stork Brings a Crane," and his character connects the Boston setting of Cheers with Frasier's later life in Seattle. Frasier and Lilith share custody-related tensions after their divorce, while Frederick often visits his father.

The character is usually called Freddy as he grows older. In the original Frasier series, Luke Tarsitano played him as a young child and Trevor Einhorn played him during most of his later appearances. A storyline involving his bar mitzvah reveals his middle name: Gaylord.

Frederick also appears in the 2023 Frasier revival, where Jack Cutmore-Scott plays him as an adult. He has become a Boston firefighter after briefly attending Harvard, creating a new source of conflict and connection between him and Frasier.
