What is the name of Beyonce's women fashion line introduced in 2005?

The story behind the answer

The name of Beyoncé's women's fashion line introduced in 2005 was House of Deréon.

Beyoncé launched the line with her mother, Tina Knowles, who was also her longtime stylist. The brand was introduced on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2005 and blended contemporary streetwear with more traditionally feminine details such as embroidery, ruffles, and fitted silhouettes. Denim, outerwear, handbags, footwear, and sportswear were among its offerings.

The name honored Beyoncé's maternal grandmother, Agnéz Deréon, a seamstress whose influence helped inspire the label. The concept was also described as drawing on three generations of family style: Agnéz's elegance, Tina's fashion sensibility, and Beyoncé's modern image.

A common mix-up is Ivy Park, Beyoncé's later athleisure brand launched in 2016 with Topshop. Deréon was a separate earlier venture. The junior Deréon line followed in 2006, while House of Deréon gradually disappeared from the market in the years after its junior range was discontinued.
