Jay-Z, whose birth name is Shawn Corey Carter, is an American rapper, songwriter, record executive, and businessman. Beyoncé and Jay-Z married in 2008 after collaborating on songs including “’03 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Crazy in Love,” and “Déjà Vu.”
Their professional partnership continued through joint recordings, live performances, and the 2018 album Everything Is Love, credited to The Carters. They have also appeared together at major award ceremonies and concert tours, making them one of popular music’s most prominent creative partnerships.
