What is the name of Barcelona's home stadium?
Answer
Camp Nou
Answer
Camp Nou
Barcelona’s home stadium is Camp Nou, officially marketed in recent years as Spotify Camp Nou. The stadium is located in the Les Corts district of Barcelona and has been FC Barcelona’s home since its opening on 24 September 1957.
The name “Camp Nou” means “New Ground” in Catalan. It was built to replace Barcelona’s previous home, Les Corts, whose limited capacity could not accommodate the club’s growing support. When it opened, Camp Nou was one of Europe’s largest football stadiums and quickly became a defining symbol of Barça.
The club made “Camp Nou” its official name after a members’ vote during the 2000–01 season. In 2022, Barcelona agreed a naming-rights partnership with Spotify, producing the commercial name Spotify Camp Nou. “Camp Nou” remains the standard answer in general football trivia.
The wrong options are all famous Spanish stadiums, but they belong to other clubs: Mestalla to Valencia, Wanda Metropolitano to Atlético Madrid, and Santiago Bernabéu to Real Madrid.
