What is the Japanese title of Studio Ghibli’s 1984 film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind?

The Japanese title of Studio Ghibli’s 1984 film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is Kaze no Tani no Naushika.

The title is commonly romanized as Kaze no Tani no Naushika and literally refers to Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Hayao Miyazaki directed the film and adapted it from his own manga, which began publication in 1982 and continued beyond the movie’s ending.

Nausicaä was produced before Studio Ghibli was formally established in 1985, although it is closely associated with the studio because its success helped make the studio’s founding possible. The other choices are Japanese titles for Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, and Castle in the Sky.
