What is the Japanese name for Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters?

The Japanese name for Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters is Shinuchi.

Shinuchi is the third Japanese version of Yo-kai Watch 2. The two earlier releases were Yo-kai Watch 2: Ganso and Yo-kai Watch 2: Honke, which were localized in English as Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls. Shinuchi added content to the same time-traveling adventure and later became the basis for the English release titled Psychic Specters.

Yo-kai Watch 2 follows the protagonist as they investigate supernatural disturbances and travel between the present day and a historical past. The story introduces the protagonist’s grandfather and explores the origins of an earlier Yo-kai Watch. Shinuchi includes additional quests, characters, and features beyond the first two versions.

The Japanese title can be confusing because “Shinuchi” is not translated directly into the English game title. Likewise, Ganso and Honke remain Japanese names rather than English subtitles. Psychic Specters was released internationally as a distinct English version, but Shinuchi is the canonical Japanese name associated with it.
