What is the full title of the 1999 Tomb Raider game centered on Lara’s Egyptian adventure?
Answer
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
Answer
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
The full title is Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation.
Released in 1999, The Last Revelation places much of Lara Croft’s adventure in Egypt. The story begins when Lara removes the amulet of Horus from an ancient tomb, accidentally unleashing the Egyptian god Set. She must then find a way to undo the catastrophe while exploring temples, tombs, and other archaeological locations.
The game was developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive. It introduced a more continuous Egyptian setting than many earlier entries and included a playable flashback showing Lara as a teenager under the guidance of Professor Werner Von Croy.
The title is often shortened to The Last Revelation, but the complete game title includes Tomb Raider. It should not be confused with Tomb Raider: Chronicles, the 2000 collection of connected stories.
