What is the full name of Assassin's Creed II protagonist Ezio Auditore?

The full name of Assassin's Creed II protagonist Ezio Auditore is Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Ezio is introduced in Assassin's Creed II as a young Florentine nobleman whose family is destroyed by a conspiracy. He then enters the Assassin Brotherhood and spends much of the game pursuing those responsible while learning the order's methods.

The phrase “da Firenze” means “of Florence,” linking him directly to the Italian city where his story begins. Ezio later appears in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, making him one of the franchise's most extensively developed protagonists.

He is not the same character as Altaïr, the protagonist of the first game, or Desmond Miles, the modern-day character who experiences ancestral memories. Ezio's trilogy covers Renaissance Italy and Constantinople across several decades.
