What is the Air Jordan logo called?

The Jumpman is a silhouette of Michael Jordan appearing to leap while holding a basketball. Nike designer Peter Moore developed the logo after seeing a magazine photograph of Jordan in a similar pose. The logo first appeared on the Air Jordan III in 1988. Earlier Air Jordan models, especially the first and second shoes, used the Wings logo instead, so the Jumpman was not part of the franchise from its very beginning. In 1997, the Jumpman became the logo of Nike’s Jordan Brand.
