What is Mater's full name after he is knighted in Pixar's Cars 2?

Mater's full name after his knighting in Pixar's Cars 2 is Sir Tow Mater.

At the end of Cars 2, Mater is knighted by the Queen of the United Kingdom after helping stop the villains’ plan. The ceremony gives him the title “Sir,” creating the punning formal name “Sir Tow Mater,” which sounds like “sir tow mater.”

Mater begins the film as Lightning McQueen’s loyal friend from Radiator Springs. His accidental involvement in the international spy plot leads him to work with Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. Although other characters initially underestimate him, his unconventional observations help expose the conspiracy.

The title is a wordplay joke based on Mater’s role as a tow truck. “Tow Mater” is his ordinary name, while “Sir Tow Mater” is the honorific form used after the ceremony. The scene does not make him a British citizen or a professional spy; it simply recognizes his service.
