What is Kenny McCormick’s superhero alter ego? Kenny McCormick’s superhero alter ego is Mysterion.

Mysterion first appears in the season 13 episode “The Coon,” where he emerges as a rival to Eric Cartman’s masked supervillain persona, the Coon. The identity is initially left uncertain, even though Mysterion’s voice and behavior distinguish him from the other boys.

Kenny is finally revealed as Mysterion during the season 14 trilogy “Coon 2: Hindsight,” “Mysterion Rises,” and “Coon vs. Coon and Friends.” The disguise gives Kenny a more serious, principled personality and lets him protect his younger sister, Karen.

Mysterion is sometimes confused with other South Park superhero identities, including Mosquito, Human Kite, and Toolshed. Those names belong to other boys in the group’s superhero games. Kenny’s unusual superpower is resurrection: he returns after dying, while others generally cannot remember the deaths.
