Hugo “Hurley” Reyes’s first name in Lost is Hugo.
Hugo Reyes is one of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 and is usually called Hurley by the other characters. His nickname comes from his middle name, not from a separate legal identity.
Hurley is introduced as humorous and friendly, but the series gives him substantial dramatic storylines. His past includes winning a huge lottery jackpot using the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42, which he later associates with a run of bad luck.
