What is Foo Fighters' eleventh studio album, released in June 2023?
Answer
But Here We Are
Foo Fighters' eleventh studio album, released in June 2023, is *But Here We Are*.
The album arrived on June 2, 2023, following the death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. It was Foo Fighters' first studio album after Hawkins' death, and Dave Grohl recorded the drum parts himself. The band and producer Greg Kurstin shaped the record around grief, anger, memory, and eventual acceptance.
The album is also dedicated to Hawkins and Grohl's mother, Virginia, who died in 2022. Its title and emotionally direct songwriting mark it as a particularly personal entry in the band's catalogue. Common mix-ups include naming *Medicine at Midnight* or *Concrete and Gold*, which are earlier Foo Fighters albums, or *Your Favorite Toy*, which is not the answer to this 2023 album question.
