Assassin's Creed Syndicate gives Jacob Frye the first name Jacob.
Jacob is one of the game's two principal protagonists, alongside his twin sister Evie Frye. The siblings are London-based Assassins who oppose Templar influence during the Industrial Revolution.
Jacob is generally portrayed as impulsive and confrontational, while Evie is more methodical and focused on locating an Isu artifact. Players can switch between them for much of the campaign, and each has distinct skill specializations.
The wording matters because Evie is Jacob's twin sister, not his first name or a second version of the same character. Syndicate also features Henry Green, an Assassin ally in London, and Lydia Frye, a later descendant who appears in a separate sequence.
