Answer

Answer
Finland
What country is the snowmobile manufacturer Lynx from? Lynx is from Finland.
Lynx is a Finnish snowmobile brand whose first sled was introduced by Velsa Oy in Kurikka in 1968. The marque is now owned and distributed by Bombardier Recreational Products, or BRP, a Canadian company that also owns Ski-Doo. That ownership sometimes causes people to describe Lynx as Canadian, but the brand’s national origin and manufacturing identity are Finnish.
Lynx snowmobiles are strongly associated with Nordic conditions and riding styles. The company’s machines are developed for demanding snow, rough trails, utility work, and active off-trail riding. Production is centered in Rovaniemi, Finland, above the Arctic Circle, where BRP also assembles certain related powersports products.
Lynx and Ski-Doo models can share engines and underlying platforms, including Rotax power and BRP chassis technology. They are nevertheless separate brands, with Lynx using distinctive suspension and setup choices. Finland is therefore the best answer to the country-of-origin question, even though the present-day parent company is Canadian.
