Allinol is the alternative fuel brand central to the plot of Pixar’s Cars 2.
Sir Miles Axlerod introduces Allinol during the World Grand Prix as a cleaner alternative fuel and uses the international race to promote it. Lightning McQueen initially agrees to participate with Allinol, while the fuel becomes a major part of the film’s mystery.
The story reveals that attacks on racers using Allinol are connected to a wider scheme involving oil-dependent interests and a plan to discredit the fuel. The plot turns the World Grand Prix into both a sporting event and an international espionage operation.
Allinol is fictional and belongs to the Cars universe. It is not the same as Rust-eze, Lightning McQueen’s sponsor, Dinoco, a famous racing and fuel brand, or Octane Gain, another fictional sponsor. Those brands appear in the Cars films, but Allinol is the fuel product specifically driving the sequel’s central conflict.
