Joey Tribbiani’s recurring alias in Friends is Ken Adams.
Joey uses the name Ken Adams when introducing himself, particularly in situations where he wants to sound more mysterious or confident. The alias reflects Joey’s theatrical personality and his tendency to invent stories or identities when talking to strangers.
Joey is an actor who becomes best known in the series for playing Dr. Drake Ramoray on the fictional soap opera Days of Our Lives. His professional life often involves auditions, short-lived jobs and attempts to project a more sophisticated image.
The alias is sometimes misremembered as a nickname based on Joey’s real first name. It is not his legal name and is not the name of another main character. In Friends, Ken Adams is the specific invented identity associated with Joey’s introductions.
