The musician, Mike Shinoda, is from this group?
Answer
Linkin Park
Answer
Linkin Park
Mike Shinoda is from the group Linkin Park, which he co-founded and helped shape as a vocalist, rapper, guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer.
Shinoda began making music with future bandmates Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon while attending Agoura High School in California. Their early project was called Xero. After several lineup and name changes, the group became Hybrid Theory and ultimately Linkin Park, with Chester Bennington later joining as lead vocalist.
Linkin Park's debut album, Hybrid Theory, was released in 2000 and became one of the defining rock records of the early 21st century. Shinoda's rap verses, melodic vocals, programming, and production helped give the band its distinctive blend of alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic sounds.
He also pursued a separate project, Fort Minor, whose 2005 album The Rising Tied produced the hit single “Remember the Name.” That solo work can sometimes cause confusion, but Shinoda remains most strongly identified with Linkin Park.
