The London Athletics Meet is part of which annual athletics series?

The London Athletics Meet is part of the annual Diamond League series.

The Diamond League is World Athletics’ premier annual circuit of elite outdoor track-and-field meetings. Athletes compete across a season of international meetings, earning points in selected disciplines as they pursue qualification for the series final and the Diamond Trophy. London is one of the circuit’s regular European destinations.

The meeting is sometimes confused with older or parallel athletics circuits. The Golden League was the predecessor to the modern Diamond League and ended after the 2009 season. Continental Tour Gold is another World Athletics meeting tier, while the World Athletics Indoor Tour is specifically an indoor series. The London Athletics Meet is an outdoor Wanda Diamond League meeting.
