Taylor Swift performed “august” at which Grammy Awards ceremony in 2021?

Taylor Swift performed “august” at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021.

She performed it as part of a medley with “cardigan” and “willow.” The three-song sequence connected Folklore with Evermore and showcased Swift alongside Folklore collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner.

The performance took place on March 14, 2021, several months after Folklore’s surprise release. Swift staged the performance around a cottage-like setting, matching the album’s woodland and cottagecore visual language.

The ceremony was especially significant because Folklore won Album of the Year there. That victory also led to Joe Alwyn being recognized by the Recording Academy as a co-producer of “august.” The performance and award are related but separate events.
