Room for Squares was a CD and studio album released by American singer-songwriter and guitarist John Mayer. It was Mayer's debut studio album, first issued by Aware Records on June 5, 2001, and then re-released by Aware and Columbia Records on September 18, 2001.

The album grew out of Mayer's early performances and recordings, including songs that had appeared on his 1999 independent EP Inside Wants Out. The Columbia edition helped bring him to a much wider audience and included the song “3x5,” which was not on the original release. Its singles “No Such Thing,” “Your Body Is a Wonderland” and “Why Georgia” became important early hits.

The title is a nod to jazz drummer Hank Mobley's 1963 album No Room for Squares. Mayer wrote most of the material, with Clay Cook co-writing three songs. “Your Body Is a Wonderland” later earned Mayer the 2003 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, making the album a key milestone in his career.
