On which Taylor Swift tour did “august” become part of the live setlist?

“august” became part of Taylor Swift’s live setlist on The Eras Tour.

The Eras Tour began in March 2023 and was designed as a retrospective journey through Swift’s albums. “august” appears in the Folklore portion of the show, alongside other songs representing the album’s woodland and indie-inspired aesthetic.

Swift had already performed the song at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021, but The Eras Tour gave it a recurring place in a major concert production. The song’s inclusion also reflected Folklore’s importance in her later career.

The track was not part of the setlist for the canceled Lover Fest concerts. That tour was planned for 2020 but was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, before “august” had received a regular concert arrangement.
