On which Taylor Swift concert tour did “august” become part of the regular live set?

Taylor Swift performed “august” on her Eras Tour.

The Eras Tour was Swift’s sixth headlining concert tour and began in 2023. Its concept was to represent the major musical eras of her career, so the setlist drew from albums ranging from Taylor Swift through Midnights, including Folklore.

“august” appeared in the Folklore portion of the show, where it was performed as part of a sequence that also connected with “cardigan” and “betty.” The live arrangement helped turn the song’s recurring summer association into a large-scale concert moment for audiences around the world.

It is easy to confuse this with the 2020 Lover Fest, which was canceled because of the pandemic and never became a completed tour. Swift’s earlier Red, 1989, and Reputation tours predated “august,” since Folklore was released in 2020. Therefore, the Eras Tour is the relevant tour for the song’s major regular live presentation.
