Near which lunar formation did Apollo 14 land?

The story behind the answer

Near which lunar formation did Apollo 14 land? Apollo 14 landed near the Fra Mauro formation. The lunar module Antares touched down in the Fra Mauro highlands on February 5, 1971, southwest of Cone crater.

Fra Mauro was scientifically valuable because it consists largely of ejecta from the enormous impact that formed Mare Imbrium. Scientists hoped Apollo 14 could collect material thrown up from deep beneath the Moon’s surface. The crew approached Cone crater, a major objective, but confusing terrain prevented them from reaching its rim; they still collected nearby rocks and ejecta.

Fra Mauro had originally been selected for Apollo 13. After that mission was aborted, its landing plan was transferred to Apollo 14. The site is often confused with Descartes Highlands, where Apollo 16 landed, Hadley Rille, visited by Apollo 15, and Taurus-Littrow, Apollo 17’s destination.
