Psylocke is the codename of the mutant played by Olivia Munn in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Psylocke, whose name is associated with Betsy Braddock in Marvel Comics, becomes one of Apocalypse’s Four Horsemen. In the film, she uses a glowing psychic blade and other telekinetic abilities while serving the ancient mutant En Sabah Nur.
Olivia Munn’s version is presented as a highly skilled fighter who joins Angel, Magneto, and Storm among Apocalypse’s chosen followers. The character’s visual design draws on recognizable comic-book elements, especially the purple costume and energy weapons.
Psylocke should not be confused with Mystique, played by Jennifer Lawrence, or Storm, played by Alexandra Shipp in the film. Jubilee, portrayed by Lana Condor, is a young student at Xavier’s school and is not one of Apocalypse’s Horsemen.
