Steven Bartlett became a Dragon on the BBC show Dragon's Den in 2022.
Bartlett is a British entrepreneur, author and podcaster who co-founded the social-media marketing agency Social Chain. The company was founded in 2014 with Dominic McGregor and grew from a social-media venture into an international business. Bartlett later became widely known for presenting The Diary of a CEO podcast.
His appointment made him one of the younger Dragons in the programme's history and introduced an investor strongly associated with digital media, online communities and technology businesses. He joined the regular panel for the twentieth series, which was broadcast in 2022.
The date is easy to confuse with other recent panel changes. Sara Davies joined in 2019, while businessman Peter Jones had been present since the original 2005 series. Bartlett's arrival therefore marked a later generation of Dragon's Den investors rather than the beginning of the programme.
