In which US city did NSYNC form in 1995?

NSYNC formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1995. The group was assembled after Chris Kirkpatrick and Lou Pearlman recruited the other members, including Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez and Joey Fatone.

Orlando was an important center of the late-1990s teen-pop industry. The group developed its vocal and dance style there before moving to Europe for early success, because its American label deal initially faced delays.

NSYNC became one of the era’s best-known boy bands after signing with RCA and later Jive Records. Its name is commonly styled as *NSYNC, based on a suggestion involving the last letters of the members’ first names. The group released major hits including “Bye Bye Bye” and “It’s Gonna Be Me.”
