In which Taylor Swift Eras Tour act was “august” performed?

Taylor Swift performed “august” during the Folklore act of the Eras Tour.

The song was included in the Folklore section of Swift’s sixth concert tour, which ran from 2023 to 2024. During that portion of the show, she performed several Folklore songs while wearing a frilly gown that complemented the album’s cottagecore aesthetic.

The staging reinforced the identity of “august” as part of Folklore’s fictional, atmospheric world. The album’s songs move between imagined characters, memories, and stories rather than focusing only on autobiographical events. That approach made the Folklore act visually and thematically distinct from the tour’s other eras.

The song is not part of the Evermore act, even though Evermore followed Folklore and shares some of its indie-folk atmosphere. “willow,” another song performed at the Grammys with “august,” belongs to Evermore instead.
