In which New Mexico community did Georgia O'Keeffe maintain a home and studio?

The story behind the answer

Georgia O'Keeffe maintained a home and studio in Abiquiú, New Mexico.

The adobe house in Abiquiú became one of the artist's most important residences and working places. O'Keeffe purchased it in 1945 and restored it over several years, eventually moving there permanently in 1949 after Alfred Stieglitz's death.

Its courtyard wall and door appear in several of her paintings. The home gave her direct access to the northern New Mexico landscape that supplied subjects such as hills, bones, doors, and architectural forms.

Abiquiú is distinct from Ghost Ranch, another New Mexico place closely connected with O'Keeffe. Ghost Ranch was her retreat and source of imagery, while the Abiquiú property was her principal home and studio. The two locations are nearby but are not interchangeable answers.
