In which London district was Alan Turing born?

Alan Turing was born in Maida Vale, a district of west London, on 23 June 1912. His parents had been living in British India because of his father’s work, but they wanted their children to be raised in Britain, so they returned to London before Alan’s birth.

The family home was at what was then 2 Warrington Crescent. A blue plaque now marks the building, which later became the Colonnade Hotel. Turing’s birthplace is sometimes described simply as London, but Maida Vale is the more precise district-level answer requested here.
