The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The museum opened in 1997, eleven years after O'Keeffe's death. It was established to preserve, study, and present her art and life, and it became the first museum in the United States dedicated to a woman artist. Its collection includes paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and archival materials.
Santa Fe is especially appropriate because O'Keeffe spent much of her later life in New Mexico. The city also sits within the cultural landscape that shaped her work, although her principal Abiquiú home and studio are about an hour away by road.
The museum should not be confused with the Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio in Abiquiú or with Ghost Ranch, another major source of her imagery. These locations are related to her life, but the dedicated museum itself is in Santa Fe.
