In which act of Taylor Swift’s original Eras Tour set list was “august” performed?

Taylor Swift performed “august” in Act VII—Folklore—of the original Eras Tour set list.

The Eras Tour began in March 2023 as a retrospective show organized around Swift’s albums and musical eras. The original set list grouped “august” with other Folklore songs, including “betty,” “the last great american dynasty,” “illicit affairs,” “my tears ricochet,” and “cardigan.”

This placement reflected the album’s distinct cottagecore and woodland atmosphere within the concert. Swift performed the Folklore section in a visual world that echoed the album’s fictional storytelling and rustic imagery.

The set list changed in 2024 when Folklore and Evermore were merged into one combined act. Therefore, “Act VII—Folklore” identifies the original 2023 to early-2024 arrangement, not every later version of the show.
