In which 2001 movie did John Goodman voice the character Sulley?

The story behind the answer

John Goodman voiced Sulley in the 2001 Pixar movie "Monsters, Inc."

Goodman plays James P. Sullivan, usually called Sulley, a large blue-and-purple monster who works as a professional scarer in the city of Monstropolis. Sulley is initially proud of his reputation as the company’s top performer, but his friendship with Mike Wazowski and his encounter with a human child named Boo change his view of the monster world’s fear-based energy system.

Directed by Pete Docter, "Monsters, Inc." was Pixar’s fourth feature film. Its story imagines a parallel society where monsters enter children’s bedrooms through magical doors and collect screams to power their civilization. The film’s emotional core is Sulley’s growing protectiveness toward Boo and his willingness to challenge the rules of Monsters, Incorporated.

Viewers sometimes confuse the voice cast because Billy Crystal voices Mike Wazowski, Sulley’s one-eyed best friend and assistant. Goodman later returned as Sulley in the 2013 prequel "Monsters University" and in the television series "Monsters at Work."
