J. M. Barrie’s novel Peter and Wendy was published in 1911.
The book developed from Barrie’s earlier Peter Pan stories and stage work. It is commonly known by the title Peter Pan, although its original title was Peter and Wendy. The novel expanded the world, characters, and ideas introduced in the stage play.
