Good American was launched by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede as a fashion brand focused initially on denim and inclusive sizing. The company’s first product launch emphasized offering a broad range of women’s sizes rather than treating plus-size clothing as a separate, limited category.
The brand later expanded beyond jeans into clothing, swimwear, activewear and shoes. Its business identity has remained closely tied to size inclusivity and body-positive marketing.
Good American is distinct from the family’s other major companies. Kim Kardashian founded SKIMS, Kylie Jenner founded Kylie Cosmetics, and Kourtney Kardashian created the lifestyle brand Poosh. Although Kardashian family members often promote one another’s ventures, Khloé’s principal fashion company is Good American, which she co-founded with Grede.
