Disney Channel’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” premiered in 2006.
The preschool animated series debuted on the Disney Channel on May 5, 2006. It placed Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and other familiar characters in an interactive format designed to encourage young viewers to solve simple problems.
Each episode typically begins at the Clubhouse and uses recurring tools and phrases, including the “Mousekadoer” and “Mouseketools.” The program’s computer-generated animation gave the classic characters a bright, contemporary appearance while retaining their recognizable designs.
The series is sometimes confused with “The Mickey Mouse Club,” the 1950s variety program featuring the Mouseketeers. They are separate productions: “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” is a 21st-century preschool cartoon, whereas “The Mickey Mouse Club” began in 1955.
