In what city is Frasier's radio show set?

Frasier's radio show is set in Seattle, Washington. The series follows psychiatrist Frasier Crane after he leaves Boston and returns to his hometown, where he begins hosting The Dr. Frasier Crane Show on the fictional station KACL.

Seattle is more than a backdrop: the city shapes the show's identity through its coffee culture, rainy atmosphere, upscale neighborhoods, and recognizable landmarks such as the Space Needle. Frasier's apartment, however, is fictional, and its famous skyline view was designed to make Seattle's landmarks especially prominent.

The radio-station setting also drives the story. Frasier's producer Roz Doyle, station manager Kenny Daly, and colleagues such as sports host Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe provide a regular workplace ensemble. Although the program is set in Seattle, most filming took place on soundstages in Los Angeles.
