Adam offers a country club as the venue for Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3.
The offer occurs in episode 5, “Last Dance.” Jeremiah discovers a critical financial error involving a company Adam’s firm wants to acquire. Adam is proud of Jeremiah’s handling of the problem and responds by offering to pay for the wedding if it is held at his country club.
The offer also creates new pressure for Belly. The wedding becomes more lavish and expensive than she expected, and she later feels overwhelmed by the scale of the plans. The country club is different from the Cousins summer house, Susannah’s memorial garden, and other important locations in the series. Episode 5 was directed by Jenny Han, who also co-wrote the teleplay with herself listed as the episode’s writer.
