In the original Donkey Kong arcade, which screen has moving elevators?

The story behind the answer

In the original Donkey Kong arcade game, the moving elevators appear on the Elevator Screen, also called 75m.

This is the third stage in the classic four-screen arcade game. Donkey Kong stands at the top of a construction structure while Mario climbs platforms, avoids bouncing springs, and rides moving elevators to reach Pauline. The elevators move vertically and can carry Mario toward the upper platforms, but they can also leave him vulnerable to falling hazards and enemy movement.

The screen’s “75m” name follows the game’s height-based stage numbering: the first screen is 25m, the second is 50m, the elevator stage is 75m, and the final rivet stage is 100m. Each screen introduces a different arrangement of obstacles rather than simply increasing the same level.

Players sometimes confuse 75m with the game’s opening construction stage or with 100m, the rivet screen. The moving elevators are the distinctive feature of 75m, while the final 100m screen requires Mario to remove rivets from the structure and defeat Donkey Kong.
