Answer
March 24, 2022
The first episode of the Halo television series premiered on March 24, 2022.
The live-action series debuted on Paramount+ and was developed for television by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane. It is set in its own continuity, often called the Silver Timeline, rather than serving as a direct adaptation of the exact game storyline. The series follows Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, the UNSC, the Covenant, and characters created or substantially reworked for television.
Pablo Schreiber plays Master Chief, while Jen Taylor appears as Cortana, reprising the character’s voice role from the games. The first season consists of nine episodes and introduces the show’s version of the human-Covenant conflict.
The premiere date can be confused with the dates of later episodes, the second season, or the release dates of Halo games. The series began streaming in 2022, more than two decades after the first Halo game launched in 2001.
