In The Godfather Part II, Gastone Moschin plays young Don Fanucci.

Fanucci is a feared extortionist in Vito Corleone’s Little Italy neighborhood. He demands money from local businesses and immigrants, presenting himself as an untouchable criminal authority.

Vito eventually realizes that Fanucci’s power depends more on reputation than on actual control. He tracks Fanucci to a festival and kills him, beginning Vito’s rise as the neighborhood’s new power.
