Steven Bartlett joined the British TV show Dragons' Den in 2022 as its youngest Dragon.
Bartlett became known as a technology entrepreneur, author and podcaster before joining the BBC programme. He co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing company, and later became widely recognised for hosting The Diary of a CEO podcast.
His appointment marked a generational change for the panel. Bartlett was notably younger than the established investors who had appeared in earlier series, bringing a background in digital media, online communities and technology-led businesses.
The appointment is sometimes confused with the debut of other newer Dragons, including Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani. Bartlett's key distinction is his age at the time he joined: he was presented as the youngest Dragon in the show's history.
