Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad
Answer
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad is the main playable character in the 2007 video game Assassin’s Creed.
Altaïr is a Syrian-born member of the Assassin Brotherhood during the Third Crusade. The game follows his missions across cities including Masyaf, Jerusalem, Acre, and Damascus, where he investigates targets connected to the Templar Order.
At the beginning of the story, Altaïr’s rank is reduced after he breaks key Assassin protocols. His mentor, Al Mualim, then assigns him a sequence of assassination missions that gradually reveal a larger conspiracy and challenge his understanding of the Creed.
Altaïr is not the same character as Ezio Auditore, the protagonist of the next major game. Altaïr’s story also connects to Desmond Miles through the Animus, the machine used to relive genetic memories.
