In the 1988 film 'Die Hard', what is the name of the computer hacker who assists the terrorists?

The story behind the answer

In the 1988 film Die Hard, the computer hacker who assists the terrorists is Theo.

Theo is Hans Gruber’s technical specialist and the member of the group responsible for defeating Nakatomi Plaza’s electronic security. While Gruber’s team holds the Christmas Eve partygoers hostage, Theo works through the vault’s security system so they can steal the $640 million in bearer bonds stored inside.

Clarence Gilyard Jr. played Theo. The character is notably more talkative and irreverent than many of Gruber’s heavily armed accomplices, frequently making jokes while working at the computers. After the vault is opened, Theo prepares an escape vehicle in the parking garage, but Argyle knocks him unconscious before he can get away.

Theo is easy to confuse with Hans Gruber, the operation’s leader, or Karl, Gruber’s brutal second-in-command. Marco is another henchman, not the hacker. Die Hard was released in 1988 and adapted Roderick Thorp’s 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever, although the film changed the protagonist and setting substantially.
